Police Unions Calls For Mass Miami Dolphins’ Ticket Returns After Anthem Display

We live in such a time of disrespect. Back in the day, your parents taught you to respect. If people cannot respect our country and flag… move somewhere where you can!

Unfortunately, many NFL players continued their national anthem protests with raised fists and bended knees as the league began the 2018 preseason this week. Three Dolphins protested the anthem during the preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Wide receivers Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson knelt, while defensive end Robert Quinn raised his right fist.

But, actions have Consequences. Because of this, two major police union joined President Trump side and called for a boycott of the Miami Dolphins franchise.

The Broward County Police Benevolent Association wrote: “The Broward County PBA recently offered our members discounts to a Miami Dolphins game because that franchise said they were going to honor all First Responders. We entered into this partnership with the understanding that the Dolphins organization would require their players to stand for the National Anthem. This did not happen at last night’s preseason game against Tampa Bay. As a result, the BCPBA will no longer participate in this ticket program, and we are asking all of our members, as well as members of the Dade County PBA and Palm Beach County PBA, not to participate either. If you have already purchased tickets to this game, we encourage you to call the Dolphins ticket office to request a refund because this organization obviously DOES NOT honor First Responders and the dangers they put themselves in every day.”

The Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association followed suit less than two hours later with a very similar statement.

In the statements, both unions state they offered their members discounts for Dolphins games because the organization said it was “going to honor all First Responders” and require players to stand for the anthem.

Bravo to both police departments.
I will honor that police request because NFL players protest is a national sick joke!! They picked the wrong forum and manner on this issue. The national anthem and flag are honored at sporting events for veterans that served and gave their life for our country.

President Trump also expressed his opinion about the situation.

I have heard some say they want “Social Justice” but I have not heard ANY demonstrate they know what that means. Funny how I never heard about one NFL player protesting during the entire offseason.

This crap is it off hand. It needs to stop. They say they are kneeling for injustice. What about the division and destruction they are bringing by kneeling? Don’t they see this approach isn’t working? Time to stop and find a way to bring people together.

I will not be watching any NFL football games anymore as long as the players are not standing for the National Anthem. I will also be boycotting the team sponsors. I like and support the Police Unions. The NFL players better keep there protesting off the field. I love Football but will not tolerate the protests.
