Photos: Customs and Border Patrol Captured Illegals Crossing The Rio Grande During The Solar Eclipse – What They Did Next Divides Public Opinion
Federal border agents cautioned travelers attempting entry into the United States to be wary of the solar eclipse and higher-than-usual traffic volume.
On Monday, the moon was positioned so that the sun’s entire disc was blocked in 13 states, starting in Mexico and moving across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine before heading over the North Atlantic Ocean. The total eclipse lasted up to 4 minutes and 28 seconds in some areas.
The southern border remained open for processing, with agents from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Border Patrol on hand, as usual.
I mean the border is open all the time why shut it down for 5 min!
It’s not like the border patrol agents were busy chasing illegals.
OK, some of them were but they just needed friends to watch the solar eclipse together!
