Earlier this week, President Donald Trump posted a tweet, saying that he is ordering the Justice Department to investigate whether the Obama administration spied on his 2016 presidential campaign.
“I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes – and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!” the president said in a tweet.

Trump’s tweet triggered former Attorney General Eric Holder to say that the DOJ needs to stand up and say no to Trump — even if that constitutes a breach of the Constitution.
He added that the Department of Justice should stonewall any attempt to launch an investigation into possible surveillance of President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, saying that it should defy any orders from the president in order to “protect the institutions and time-tested norms.”
“Trump demand for DOJ investigation is dangerous/democracy threatening. DOJ response is disappointing,” Holder tweeted. “There is no basis/no predicate for an inquiry. It’s time to stand for time-honored DOJ independence. That separation from White House is a critical part of our system.”

“More DOJ norms being eroded,” he continued. “Trump-a SUBJECT of the investigation-wants access to material related to the inquiry. His Congressional supporters want evidence connected to an ongoing investigation. Time for DOJ/FBI to simply say no-protect the institutions and time-tested norms.”

Can the former AG be so blind or so stupid to not realize that the American public, the citizens who compose “we the people” are sick and tired of the corrupt institutions and the time-tested norms? That is why Trump is President of the United States.
What is the matter, Holder? Are you worried that your crimes will be made public? Maybe the time limit for prosecution hasn't passed yet? The administration that you were a part of was organized crime. Maybe a RICO prosecution coming?

What kind of lawyer tells someone to not follow the constitution and break the law? A lawyer who should be disbarred! Don’t you think?
Luckily, Twitter users held nothing back in their responses.
Independence? You were held in contempt of Congress. Fast & Furious, Solyndra c'mon man as Plugs Biden would say. There was never separation in the Obama years-you were his wing man. Fundamentally change the US-yes FBI,DOJ are now corrupt. @KevinMarriageDr @Waki_Leaks @fredswork

And this coming from one of the most corrupt individuals in the Obama Admin. YOU set the standard for the corruption that we now deal with in the DOJ. YOU thumbed your nose at the rule of law and disregarded the Institutions this Country holds dear. No worries, Trump will prevail

If he, Eric Holder, thinks that the DOJ needs to bypass the Constitution what does that make him and his buddies look like: crooks, corrupt, liars, cover up! However, we saw his ethical side when he gave guns to cartels. We saw his morals when he and Obama had Sharon Addkisson and James Rosen spied upon for breaking the fast and furious story. Which led to a lawsuit against the administration at the time in which the outcome was never published.
Yes… one of the many Obama administration scandals he did not have.
