After David Hogg’s Die-In Stunt – Publix Cancels Donations to Planned Parenthood (Video)

David Hogg is definitely not the favorite person among Americans at this moment. The only thing he is trying is how to best strip Americans of their Second Amendment rights.

On Tuesday, David Hogg took to Twitter to announce his newest boycott: Publix, a Florida-based grocery chain.

Hogg’s reasoning behind the new boycott is based on Publix “supporting” an “NRA sellout” who is running for Florida governor, Adam Putnam.

Hogg’s followers laid in the aisles of Publix grocery stores for 15 minutes on Friday, blocking customers from shopping.

After Publix announced its decision to halt political donations, Hogg tweeted “Together we can do anything.”

Shortly before anti-gun activist David Hogg and other anti-gun protesters staged “die-ins” in Orlando and Coral Springs, Florida on Friday, Publix announced it would suspend political donations in the wake of Hogg’s organized protest.

“At Publix, we respect the students and members of the community who have chosen to express their voices on these issues,” the grocery store said in a statement. “We regret that our contributions have led to a divide in our community. We did not intend to put our associates and the customers they serve in the middle of a political debate. At the same time, we remain committed to maintaining a welcoming shopping environment for our customers.

“We would never knowingly disappoint our customers or the communities we serve,” the statement continued. “As a result, we decided earlier this week to suspend corporate-funded political contributions as we reevaluate our giving processes.”
But one of the political organizations that they stop supporting was plannet parenthood!

Twitter users quickly found a list of the causes that Publix had been supporting — and the Democratic Party can’t be happy about it.

Publix was contributing to the YMCA, who is a member of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, the YWCA who supports LGBT causes, United Way chapters that have funded Planned Parenthood, as well as March of Dimes and Susan G. Koman — both of which continue to fund the controversial clinics

So, is this Hogg’s play? Call for endless boycotts? David Hogg needs to get a grip. He has NO authority to demand anything! He is a puppet who thinks he has power. People have jobs. I know he doesn’t know what that is like, yet, but he will. He better leaves private businesses alone.
