One of the things that come with being a liberal is this total disrespect for country and flag. They have no understanding that people died for them to be free. They believe open border and foreign flags on US soil is okay….it’s not.
But, on Monday, the proud Army veteran, mother, and black American Kathy Barnette addressed to the disrespecting NFL players who continue to take a knee when our National Anthem is played.
During the interview on “Fox & Friends,” Barnette said NFL players protesting police brutality during the National Anthem need to focus on some of the “real issues” the black community faces.
Barnette said: “There are some real issues in the black community, some very real, systemic, devastating issues. But the one that we are seeing almost every day, about police brutality, that probably isn’t even in the top five.”
Barnette said that a better thing for these NFL players to do is to use their platforms to shine a spotlight on issues like family instability, lack of education, high unemployment rate, and low home ownership — which she said are “much larger” issues than police brutality.
“For these particular NFL players, they have a significant platform. They can go into any community and immediately shine a spotlight on what the real issues are,” she said.
“One black person, a white person, Asian person, any person shot by police unarmed for no reason is one too many. But it most definitely is not the big ‘boogey bear’ that they’re pushing it to be,” she added.
This American patriot got it right. Nobody wants to address the real issue.
Sadly, they’ll never focus on the issues she mentions because that means they have no one to blame but themselves. Blacks are really only concerned with who they can blame for their failings because there is just no way that they themselves could be the cause. It’s a sad, self-destructive community.
