White House Shuts Down Robert De Niro After Actor ‘Banned’ POTUS From His Restaurant (VIDEO)
De Niro may play a tough guy on film but in reality, he’s just another candy-ass liberal who’s been screaming at the sky since the election.
At the opening of Nobu’s new Marabella Resort in Spain last week, unhinged actor Robert De Niro, who co-owns the Nobu restaurant and resort chain, said that he does not want to see Trump anywhere near his Nobu restaurants.
“I don’t care what he likes. If he walked into a restaurant I was in — I’d walk out,” the 74-year-old actor stated. He further clarified that he would “never let Trump into any of the Nobu restaurants.”
And now, the White House responded to De Niro’s claims. White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley assured the actor and his restaurateur partner, Nobu Matsuhisa, that the President has no plans to visit a Nobu-branded restaurant or hotel.
“I don’t think the President is planning on attending a dinner at Nobu anytime soon,” Gidley said.
Gidley added that although De Niro can do what he wants with his own restaurants, the president will have no problem finding somewhere else to eat because he owns his own international hotel chain.
“The president has great dinners here at the White House,” he continued. “And quite frankly, he can go to many of his properties around the country and globe. He won’t be stopping at Nobu anytime soon.”
Awesome. Trump has his own luxury brand hotels and restaurants, so he would not even think about going to De Niro’s.
But, with his childish and immature remarks, Robert De Niro has really labeled his restaurant a loser. He just insulted half his customer base to stick it to the President. “I’ll cut my profits in half – that’ll teach the President.”
What a brilliant marketing strategy!
