Watch! Fashion Designer Donna Karan Says Weinstein’s Alleged Victims Were ‘Asking For’ It… Immediately Gets Shut Down!

Speaking to a reporter at the CinéFashion Film Awards in Los Angeles, fashion designer Donna Karan defended her friend Harvey Weinstein against allegations made by multiple women who claim they were sexually harassed and assaulted by him. Karan implied that women who dress sensually are asking for trouble.

Karan said: “To see it here in our own country is very difficult, but I also think, how do we display ourselves. How do we present ourselves as women? What are we asking? Are we asking for it by presenting all the sensuality and all the sexuality? And what are we throwing out to our children today about how to dance and how to perform and what to wear? How much should they show?”

“It’s not Harvey Weinstein, you look at everything all over the world today and what [women] are asking by just presenting themselves the way they do. I think [Weinstein] is being looked at right now as a symbol and not necessarily as him.”

“Obviously, the treatment of women all over the world is something that has always had to be identified,” Karan continued. “Certainly in the country of Haiti where I work, in Africa, in the developing world, it’s been a hard time for women.”

“Harvey has done some amazing things,” Karan continued. “I think we have to look at our world and what we want to say and how we want to say it as well. You look at everything all over the world today and how women are dressing and what they are asking by just presenting themselves the way they do. What are they asking for? Trouble.”

With her comments, the fashion designer sparked huge outrage among her celebrity friends and other people as well.

I bet if this was Trump these people would be all over him wanting him roasted alive. But not one of their own! However, Karen soon changed her mind and apologized because of what she said.

Via Breitbart: “In a statement Monday, Karan said her remarks were taken out of context and don’t represent her feelings. She says she believes “sexual harassment is NOT acceptable and this is an issue that MUST be addressed once and for all regardless of the individual.”

Karan says she’s “truly sorry to anyone that I offended and everyone that has ever been a victim.”

Well, now it is too late! The damage is done! Words are powerful. Once said you can’t take them back. She is only sorry because there were repercussions to her comment. It’s obvious how she feels or she wouldn’t have said it in the first place.
