Wait, Did ABC Reporter Really Make That Remark on Kirk Assassination? – Backlash Incoming! (Video)

Leave it to the leftist media to twist a tragedy into their narrative pretzel, but ABC News’ Jonathan Karl took it to a new low with a trainwreck comment that had everyone asking, “Did he really just say that?” On “This Week,” Karl waffled like a pro, claiming Kirk’s murder by far-left radical Tyler Robinson wasn’t political: “The murder of Charlie Kirk was not a political act. It was gruesome crime.” Yeah, right—ignoring the ANTIFA-engraved bullets, Discord plots, and Robinson’s confessed leftist hate targeting Kirk’s “anti-trans rhetoric.” It’s like saying the sun isn’t hot; the evidence screams political assassination, but Karl ducked, dived, and dodged to shield the left from blame.

The video captures the cringe—Karl looking like a deer in headlights as he tries to walk the line, only to face a buzzsaw of backlash that forced him into cleanup mode. First apology: “My comment was directed at those people who celebrate or excuse the murder… When you are committing violence, you are committing a crime, not practicing politics.” Then total defeat: “I am not saying the murderer didn’t have a political motivation. I am saying he is a criminal — and you cannot justify violence because it is done in the name of a political cause.”

Too little, too late, Jon—the damage is done, exposing ABC’s bias in a network already reeling from suspending Jimmy Kimmel for similar smears.

This isn’t journalism; it’s cover for the left’s “assassination culture,” where Democrats portray conservatives as “fascists” or “Nazis,” drawing a straight line to the bullet casings in Utah. Liberals are now more likely to endorse political violence, unpunished and egged on by the likes of Ilhan Omar trashing Kirk’s legacy. Meanwhile, sensible folks condemn it, like Jamie Lee Curtis’s tears—divided opinions, but some see genuine compassion. Kirk’s killing, the third conservative hit this year, demands accountability, not media spin.

With Erika Kirk forgiving the killer in her powerful memorial speech, and the left’s gloating exposed, it’s time for real justice—FCC hammering networks, probes dismantling radical groups. Trump called it “heinous”; let’s make them pay. Leftist tears? Priceless. America first—honor Kirk, keep fighting.

Jonathan Karl wouldn’t know integrity if it crawled on his face with football cleats.
