Jeff Sessions Creates A Religious Liberty Task Force (Video)

Since President Trump was elected we’ve all be waiting to see some arrests of the people who have misused the power they were entrusted with.
I was so happy when Sessions was appointed as AG. Since then I kept waiting for justice to be served on so many corruption issues from the last administration, but it never happens. No wonder President Trump is so angry with him.

He now tries to make up for the things he couldn’t achieve and creates a religious liberty task force!

Sessions said the task force, co-chaired by Associate Attorney General Jesse Panuccio and the assistant attorney general for the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Policy, Beth Williams, will help the department fully implement the religious liberty guidance it issued last year.

The guidance was a byproduct of President Trump’s executive order directing agencies to respect and protect religious liberty and political speech.

This will include making sure Justice Department employees “know their duties to accommodate people of faith,” Sessions said at the press conference, as well as continuing conversations with religious groups across America “to ensure that their rights are being protected.”

“We’ve seen nuns ordered to buy contraceptives. We’ve seen U.S. senators ask judicial and executive branch nominees about dogma — even though the Constitution explicitly forbids a religious test for public office,” Sessions said, also referencing the Colorado baker who refused to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex couple.

I am not impressed as you are, I want to see Justice brought down on the guilty ones and you know the one’s I am talking about. This lets you off the hook with some but not all Mr. Sessions.Do your job.

The only mistake President Trump has made was appointing Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.

I am sick to death of Sessions. He is incapable of doing anything except push his responsibilities off on someone else.. . I expect to see every one of these corrupt criminals to Walk free as a bird in flight. What is this man hiding that he never gets involved in anything important?

All the new departments and task forces and committees in the world cannot make people do “right”. This might be a bandaid–a very expensive one, or it might actually help–depending on how it’s done, whether you all give this group any teeth, and whether the rest of the people in government support them or not. I’m not very optimistic.

I am glad he is doing this, because in the state of Pennsylvania, I read about a group bible study was ordered to stop having bible study in there home on there farm. Yes with other Christians, when did the government have the power to order such a thing. these Christians are not bothering any one, and have been having this bible study for years. These people have rights and they are being unable to use them. I’m sick of hearing about things like this. There almost needs to be a law that states Christians are protected and allowed to study the Bible in there homes, or church, or any place that doesn’t bother anyone else. The church and state should not mix.
