One of the most important gun safety lessons is on the trigger. Don’t pull it, don’t even keep your finger on it, unless you are 100% certain you are going to shoot.
You hear it all the time, all the talk about firearms safety. But have you actually thought about it and made a conscious effort to understand the often-repeated firearm safety mantra. Every time you go hunting, go to the range or handle a firearm you should verbally or mentally repeat the firearms safety rules.
Remember, the firearm will not fire unless the trigger is manipulated or if you are Alec Baldwin!
But sometimes you just have to pull the trigger!
A video that we have for you today shows a young man who was scared to pull the trigger and save his friend from potential robbery and a huge embarrassment!
The video is from San Antonio, Texas and the suspect is a black male who is probably in his thirties!
The reaction of the homeowner perfectly describes what you shouldn’t do in this situation because the second amendment gives him full right to shoot the intruder who was in his front yard with a gun pointed at his friend!
The homeowner allegedly has a license for the gun too!
The right to defend ourselves is not something given to us by government, but by God Himself.
Governments don’t give you anything; they exist to take it away. Granted, some of that is necessary for an orderly society, but big government takes much more than We the People need for them to take.
The Second Amendment to our nation’s Constitution enshrines our God-given right to defend ourselves, by acknowledging our right to have the tools to do that with. While we normally think of this as talking about firearms, the Second Amendment is just as applicable to swords as it is to guns.
