Nowadays we live in a very scary world. Every day the news brings us more and more examples of outrageous acts of anti-social ends done by young black man. But, these people especially, need to learn that actions, all actions, have consequences…..some good…some bad.
Even better, parents need to teach their children that there are serious consequences for taking or attempting to take stuff that doesn’t belong to them.
Via Mad World News: According to LAist, three teens allegedly attacked a man who they followed off of the Gold Line train to the corner of Colorado Boulevard and First Street in Arcadia, California, in Los Angeles County at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2017. CBS2 reports that one of the “misguided youth,” later identified as 15-year-old Darius Smith, pointed a gun at the victim as another teen hit him in the head while demanding his money and valuables. This is when the victim, an off-duty U.S. Customs, and Border Patrol officer, separated the boys from the men. Unsurprisingly, it turns out that he was the only man in the fight.
The off-duty agent pulled his firearm and shot 15-year-old Darius Smith and one of the other teens who has not yet been identified by police. The third suspect ran but was later apprehended by Arcadia police. Smith, who was reportedly shot multiple times in the chest and legs, died at 5:34 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017. The second teen thug who was shot by the agent suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital.
The off-duty agent was reportedly bruised but did not require medical attention. He will, unfortunately, need a good attorney because this self-defense shooting took place in communist California. Almost immediately, the mainstream media rushed to interview the grieving mother who swears her dead baby boy “didn’t do nuffin.”
While tragic these young boys died, they chose to attack the officer.
During an interview with KCAL9, Reshawna Myricks, the mother of the dead teenager, said, “I’m hurt! I’m hurt, I’m hurt. I’m hurt. You all robbed me to the core.” She continued, “They going to walk home, they’re going to see their kids tonight. I got to go back and tell my other three that one of them ain’t coming back no more.” Myricks added, “Them boys didn’t do that,” alleging, “They aren’t those type of boys to do that.”
Obviously, no mother or parent, regardless of how horribly they have raised their kids, wants to lose a child of any age. That being said, eventually, Smith’s family and the rest of the liberal cop-hating world will have to come to terms with the fact that his death would not have come about if he hadn’t made decisions with very serious consequences. That off-duty agent didn’t ask for these teen thugs to follow him off the train or assault him on a street corner. He defended himself.
According to The Root, Smith’s family has lawyered-up in what seems to be an opportunistic attempt to milk every last dime out the situation. Lee Merritt, the attorney for Smith’s family, published the following statement on Facebook, and it’s very reminiscent of the “hands up, don’t shoot” mantra that emerged during the Michael Brown case, which was later proven false.
I’m sure that mother is in pain from the loss of her child but those boys made a really bad decision and paid for it. I doubt seriously if you are being assaulted by 3 people and one point a gun at your head that you will take the time to inspect it to see if it’s a toy. The man defended himself that’s all.
However, if the tables were turned and the officer was shot and killed, I am sure these mothers wouldn’t even open their mouths.
