ICE Director Sends A BRUTAL Message About San Francisco’s Sanctuary City Polices After Jury Passes A Shocking Decision About Steinle’s Killer

On Thursday, the jury found an undocumented immigrant not guilty of murder in the killing of a woman on a San Francisco pier two years ago. This case drew attention to San Francisco’s “sanctuary city” policies who were partially guilty of Steinle’s tragic death. Our President said that the not guilty verdict in the Kate Steinle murder trial was “disgraceful,” and highlighted his apparent frustration at the resolution of a case he had cited during his presidential campaign as a justification for tougher immigration enforcement.

But, it is not only President Trump who blamed San Francisco’s “sanctuary city” policies for Steinle’s death. On Thursday night, Immigration and Customs Enforcement Deputy Director Tom Homan released a statement in which he blamed San Francisco’s sanctuary city polices for the death of Kate Steinle.

Homan said: “San Francisco’s policy of refusing to honor ICE detainers is a blatant threat to public safety and undermines the rule of law. This tragedy could have been prevented if San Francisco had simply turned the alien over to ICE, as we requested, instead of releasing him back onto the streets.”

“It is unconscionable that politicians across this country continue to endanger the lives of Americans with sanctuary policies while ignoring the harm inflicted on their constituents,” Homan continued.

“Following the conclusion of this case, ICE will work to take custody of Mr. Garcia Zarate and ultimately remove him from the country,” he concluded.

Sanctuary city policies have everything to do with the verdict. If immigration laws had been enforced and we had a secure border this beautiful young woman would be alive today. What is even sadder, in this case, we have someone who is knowingly breaking the law and goes unpunished.

The full force of the DOJ should come down on this illegal POS and cut off all federal funds to cities and states that want their own definition of ”following the law.” State officials who encourage these law breaking people to come to the state should be held accountable for the death of this LEGAL citizen!
California and even more so San Francisco is a disgrace to the country! This was clearly a ”protest verdict” and this repeat offender should have at minimum been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. This screams incompetence on the part of the crack California prosecutor’s office. In the end, karma always gets it’s cut, and karma is coming. Make no mistake.
