WATCH! President Trump Just Made Americans Proud With His Special Thanksgiving Message To U.S. Troops
We have an awesome president who truly loves America. President Trump is a man with big heart. With every day passed, he just shows us how generous and kind he is. We finally have a President that respects those who gave their lives for this great country. It’s about time the Military man get the honor they deserve! With everything he is doing so far, it is evident that our President Donald Trump will be the best President ever!
On Thursday, President Donald Trump delivered a Thanksgiving message to members of the American military serving overseas and assured them “we’re really winning” against America’s foes as he celebrated Thanksgiving. The president spoke with several military groups in a video conference call from his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida and provided lunch for Coast Guard men and women on duty for the holiday.
Using the occasion to talk up his own leadership, Trump said: “It’s an honor to speak with you all, to give God thanks for the blessing of freedom, heroes, tremendous courage, Very, very special people. It doesn’t get more special.”
He assured them that they achieved more progress in Afghanistan and against the Islamic State group under his watch than it had been made in years of the previous administration.
“They say we’ve made more progress against ISIS than they did in years of the previous administration,” Trump said. “And that’s because I’m letting you do your job.”
“We’re not fighting anymore to just walk around, we’re fighting to win,’ he said. ‘We’re being talked about again as armed forces. We’re really winning,” he added.
President Trump did not forget to thank military families of the troops overseas.
He said” “I know they miss you and they miss you so deeply and so badly. They’re every bit as important as everyone else you work with because they put up with so much.”
Trump then continued the call by listing off his administration’s achievements in a bid to show the service members what they had to look forward to returning home.
“We’re doing well at home. The economy is doing really great,” he said. “When you come back, you’re gonna see with the jobs and companies coming back into our country… you’re fighting for something real. You’re fighting for something good.”
“We’re being talked about again as an armed forces — we’re really winning,” he told the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 82nd Airborne Division, whose members are conducting operations in Kandahar, Afghanistan. “Everybody’s talking about the progress you’ve made in the last few months since I opened it up.”
President Trump added that he and the rest of Americans supported them in their endeavors.
“We totally support you, in fact, we love you,’ he told the soldiers. This is a Thanksgiving you won’t forget. You’re in a very different part of the world than you’re used to but boy are you doing a job there and thank God for you.”
This is how it should be done! What better way could our wonderful President do to show his support and love for our Military and country? This man is not going anywhere!
