Mom Whose Son Has Been in a Chinese Jail For Over A Year Has a Heartbreaking Message For President Trump
Last week, LaVar Ball the father to one of the three UCLA students who was detained in China for shoplifting, insulted President Donald Trump even though he helped in getting theft charges dropped against his son. Instead of showing gratitude, LaVar Ball responded “Who?” when ESPN asked him about Trump.
So it is no wonder the son is a petty thief listening to his father. So sad. The son will likely end up in jail again because his father has given him no moral compass (and since there is apparently those who don’t know this is a character issue, not race) Criticism of Trump’s response is wholly unfounded. Тhis is why the majority of Americans were pissed off by LaVar’s gesture.
And now, one mother, whose son has been in a Chinese jail for a year, send LaVar a blistering message.
Wendell Brown, a 30-year-old former linebacker at Ball State and in the Canadian Football League, has been detained in a Chongqing jail in China for 14 months after getting in a bar fight over a year ago. Brown’s mother, Antoinette, is seeking the same help from Trump.
“I’ll thank him. If Trump lets us, if he helps Wendell, I won’t stop thanking him,” Antoinette Brown, mother of Wendell, told Yahoo Sports. “He helped get three basketball players who were guilty get out. I pray he’ll help get my innocent son out. And if he does, I’ll thank him and thank him and thank him.”
Meanwhile, she has a request for President Donald Trump:
“I would humbly ask for him to help my son who is in an unfortunate situation, and I would be truly grateful — and most definitely would thank him, no problem.”
According to Wendell Brown’s mother, her son had simply made the mistake of refusing a drink that was offered to him — a move that was considered offensive in Chinese culture — and he was subsequently attacked and hit with a beer bottle.
Mrs. Brown has all the class that Levar Ball lacks. I think the president should help her son, this is a grateful mother who is showing a sense of respect and asking for help from our president. This is what makes leaders in our country.
What I would like to know, where are all those hypocrite democrats that have been calling Trump a racist?!!! If you ask me Ball seems to be a racist, why else would he choose not to thank Trump?!! So… How about a prisoner swap? Send LiAngelo (or his dad) to Chinese prison and bring back Wendell.
