That’s why The Daily Show’s Yearly Show 2017 recap special dedicated an entire song—featuring one Hillary Rodham Clinton on vocals!
Sloan and Lydic came together to put their musical chops to the test with “Song For Women 2017 labeled by many as the feminist anthem of the year!
The two correspondents-turned-singers agreed on some ladies who made their mark this year but not in a good way: the list is full of whiny liberals like Beyoncé, Cardi B, Elizabeth Warren, the #MeToo activists (such as actress-activist Rose McGowan and Tarana Burke, who founded the movement), and the Wonder Woman film (and its director, Patty Jenkins).
Aside from Sloan and Lydic spitting their lines, there were a few special guests.
First was a superstar cameo from Hillary Clinton — you know, the woman who is one of the biggest losers in our history! Then there was “DJ Mansplain” (aka fellow Daily Show correspondent Michael Kosta) who rapped a bit before Sloan and Lydic shut it down and took back control.
