Here’s What Happens When A Reporter Tries To Breach A Door Faster Than A Marine (Video)
The Marines showed the reporters at TheDC how to properly breach a door in order to catch the bad guys. Then Ford Springer stepped up and challenged them to a breach-off. The Marines kindly accepted and the results are not so surprising…
The Daily Caller recently visited Marine Corps Base Quantico to challenge the brave men and women of the United States Marine Corps to a little friendly competition.
The Marines ran through their training exercises with ease and sent our reporters home humbled and all types of sore.
In a new series called “Reporter Vs. Marine,” The Daily Caller presents how your everyday reporter matches up against your everyday Marine when it comes to strength, toughness, perseverance, and grit. In our first episode, Ford Springer of The Daily Caller and Leah Jessen of The Daily Caller News Foundation took on a Marine aircraft rescue firefighter.
The timed challenge was to run into a planes airframe and conduct a “search and rescue” operation of a 125-pound dummy. Seems easy right? Well, maybe for the Marines…
The Marine offered to go first to show the reporters how it’s done, but it didn’t make much a difference in the end. As expected, the Marine came out on top and the reporters struggled to even complete the competition.
