Green Bay Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy Goes Off On Reporter Who Asks About Team Signing Colin Kaepernick (Video)

If athletes can’t stand for the national anthem then they don’t deserve playing football and getting paid millions of dollars in this country. These days it is such an embarrassing shame what America has turned into.

Football is a sport played by athletics paid millions to do for the entertainment of the fans. It has nothing do do with politics, the Flag or the National Anthem. Most of the players are Black so where is the oppression for them to disrespect our Flag or National Anthem?

The sad thing is they aren’t protesting for a cause. I’m sure there are several players concerned about what they view as injustices but the rest seem to be going with the crowd.

Today a reporter asked Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy about what are the chances of his team to sign Colin Kaepernick!
His answer was straightforward and he let the reporter know how he feels about players who refuse to stand for the anthem!

Here’s the full quote from McCarthy’s answer:

“Did you just listen to that question I just answered? I got three years invested in Brett Hundley. Two years invested in Joe Callahan. The quarterback room is exactly where it needs to be. OK? We’re fortunate to have a great quarterback in Aaron Rodgers. We’re committed to the path that we’re on. We need to play better as a football team.”

Ok, still not sold on the Packers not signing Colin Kaepernick?  Hopefully, that’ll help.

Pro Football Talk pointed that McCarthy is one of the biggest advocates of a player standing during the national anthem, delivering a presentation to his players every year:

“McCarthy said he has used the same PowerPoint presentation each year since his first as the Green Bay Packers coach in 2006. Before the Packers’ exhibition opener – this year it was before the Family Night practice, McCarthy said – players are taught the national anthem’s meaning. They learn about its connection with sports, why it has been played before kickoffs and tip-offs and first pitches and puck drops since World War II.”

It’s nice to know that there are still some real men left our great country that does NOT fear to tell the truth!

If they were actually concerned about racism and social injustice they would be in Chicago trying to help with the 500+ murders, mostly POC, or taking their millions and giving back to the communities that raised them.

What would happen if a scenario like Las Vegas happened at a football game?, I’m almost surprised that is has not. A person perched at the right spot could pick off hundreds of people with almost nowhere to hide, talk about panic!. How about a bomb placed at a load bearing beam could collapse on section on top of another. It seem that as time goes by people are getting angrier and angrier. This all started because of a mediocre quarterback got benched.

As it stands now they would have a lot less targets to choose from! Looks like it is going to stay that way for a little while but it will eventually correct itself I am sure.
