CNN Guest Savages Panel On Live TV: ‘This Was A Good Week For Trump’ Outside Of ‘CNN Land’ (VIDEO)
On Friday morning, political scientist and President of the Eurasia Group Ian Bremmer appeared on CNN where he discussed President Donald Trump’s denial of his former attorney Michael Cohen’s accusations that Trump had prior knowledge of the meeting between his son and a Russian attorney at Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential campaign.
During the interview, Bremmer told the hosts that if they wanted to get the big picture, they needed to get out of “CNN land.”
Via Conservative Tribune: “We need the big picture on this. It seems to me that since the Helsinki summit, a lot has changed, a lot has come out. There’s been breaking news on our watch every single morning,” one host said.
“Can you imagine if you were Micahel Cohen, the president’s longtime devoted servant, and you watched that Helsinki summit where Donald Trump seemed to defend or support Vladimir Putin more than he ever has since Michael Cohen got in trouble and now Micahel Cohen is speaking publicly.”
The CNN hosts could not have predicted what Bremmer had to say in response.
“You really want the big picture?” Bremmer asked. “This has been a good week for Trump. We get out of CNN Land for just a second, and 4-percent growth in the United States. The Europeans backed down on trade; he now looks like a winner on that front. The North Koreans? More progress with remains coming back.”
“The stuff about Michael Cohen — I mean, is he credible? He was Trump’s lawyer. If you’re a Trump supporter, this is just blah, blah, blah,” he added.
Ian Bremmer said it right: They’ve got to get out of “CNN land”-wherever that is. America and the world are passing them by–and they are missing the great change the world has ever seen. It will be known as President Trump’s Assault on the World’s Status Quo-how things have always been done-and especially NOT done.
And now, the left is wetting their panties about Trump asking his lawyer for legal advice! The horror! Cohen has previously stated his support for Trump and is only now backtracking. Could this have ANYTHING to do with a corrupt prosecutor, 17 Washington lawyers and an unlimited budget? Bankrupting a witness is NOT how our judicial system was designed to work!
