CBS Reporter Tries To Spread His Woke Ideologies At A World Cup Game In Qatar – Gets A Taste Of His Own Medicine
A US sports journalist, who is in Qatar to cover the FIFA World Cup, claimed that he was detained by security staff after he wore a rainbow t-shirt to the US’s World Cup opener against Wales on Tuesday, he also complain that the security kept him locked and his phone was taken away!
The tweet by Grant Wahl, the journalist, caused a furor on social media, with woke lefties lending him support while others, mostly Qatari nationals, schooling him to respect the “culture of the region”.
Grant claimed his phone was taken away when he tweeted about the incident. He was then detained for 25 minutes and told to remove his t-shirt.
Dr Nayef bin Nahar, an outspoken Qatari academic, said, “As a Qatari I’m proud of what happened. I don’t know when will the westerners realize that their values aren’t universal. There are other cultures with different values that should be equally respected. Let’s not forget that the West is not the spokesperson for humanity.”
“Respect the culture of the region and follow the rules as civilized person,” another Qatari national tweeted.

As an American, my values are different from your values… but the thing is, I do not travel to your country and expect your people to change and conform to my values. I don’t see why this is so hard for American liberals to understand.

When I traveled to foreign countries, i researched the country to where I was going. Did research on their culture and rules. When I arrived I acted accordingly. In all my travels and they are many, never had a problem. I respected the country and its people. The word respect now does not exist in the USA!!!!
