BREAKING: Omar Fateh Secures Dem Endorsement—Frey’s Desperate Move to Stop the Commie From Taking the Nomination

The Democratic Party in Minneapolis just made it crystal clear: the far-left wave is no longer knocking—it’s barging through the front door.

State Senator Omar Fateh, a self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist, clinched the DFL endorsement for Minneapolis mayor over incumbent Jacob Frey in a chaotic convention Saturday night. Despite concerns over irregularities, the DFL’s badge count showed a clear win for Fateh.

The endorsement shocked many, given Frey’s years as mayor and his attempts to portray himself as a moderate “economic progressive.” But clearly, that wasn’t radical enough for today’s Minneapolis DFL.

In true sore-loser fashion, Frey’s campaign is already crying foul, claiming the process was “flawed and irregular,” and vowing to challenge the endorsement. His team insists this should be a decision for the voters in November. Translation? Frey knows he just got steamrolled and is scrambling to survive.

This is a major victory for the socialist bloc in Minneapolis, and a devastating blow to any semblance of moderation in the city’s Democratic machine. The fact that a George Floyd-era mayor like Frey, who bent over backwards for the radical base, is being replaced by someone even further left tells you everything you need to know about the direction of the party.

While some delegates celebrated the rise of a “worker-centered” candidate, others are quietly panicking at what a Fateh-led Minneapolis might look like.

Frey wept over George Floyd’s golden casket, and the Dems still picked a Somali over him.

If this is the future of the Democratic Party, it’s no wonder more Americans are walking away. November’s showdown between Frey and Fateh could be a full-blown civil war inside the Democratic tent—and conservatives will be watching it burn with popcorn in hand.
