Video: Belfast Victim Stephen Ogilvie Showed Classic Suicidal Empathy Toward His Attacker Just Days Before the Near-Beheading — The Details

This story gets more tragic and infuriating by the hour.

Stephen Ogilvie, the disabled Belfast man who was brutally attacked in what looked like an attempted beheading, had been helping his Sudanese attacker move into the flat next door just four days earlier.

The same migrant who later straddled him on the street and tried to saw his head off with a kitchen knife.

Ogilvie, described as kind-hearted but with learning difficulties, had been assisting the man and others with the move. A neighborly gesture that ended in horror.

This is the textbook definition of “suicidal empathy.” A vulnerable man extends basic human decency to someone from a completely incompatible background — and gets repaid with extreme violence.

The media’s response has been predictable and disgusting. Instead of focusing on the victim or the clear failures of mass migration, some Irish politicians and journalists were caught on live TV openly discussing how to suppress videos like this in the future. They’re more concerned with controlling the narrative than protecting their own people.

Meanwhile, the footage spread anyway. The public saw exactly what happened, and they’re furious.

In the aftermath, locals took to the streets. Migrant housing in Belfast has been targeted, with some properties torched as anger boiled over.

People are fed up with being told to welcome everyone while their communities are turned into crime scenes.

This isn’t an isolated tragedy. It’s the direct result of policies that prioritize open borders and virtue signaling over the safety of citizens. Sudanese asylum seekers using loopholes to enter, granted leave to remain, then committing horrific violence against the very people expected to accommodate them.

Stephen Ogilvie paid a terrible price for his kindness. The rest of us don’t have to.

The solution is staring everyone in the face: secure borders, mass deportations of failed asylum seekers and criminals, and an end to the suicidal empathy that’s destroying Western countries.

The people of Belfast are sending a clear message. It’s time the politicians listened before more heads roll — literally.
