Black Skater Boycotts Olympics Opening Ceremony And Attacks Our Olympic Team After Controversial Flag Bearer Decision

Was this just a timing issue or a little bit of shade? Shani Davis, 35, wasn’t with the rest of Team USA when they entered the Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium for the Opening Ceremony on Feb. 9.

The speed skater was absent, and considering what he said about who got to be the country’s flag bearer, the timing has raised a few eyebrows.

According to a U.S. speedskating spokesperson, however, Davis only planned on marching in the parade if he was picked for the position.

“Shani won’t march in the parade. It was never part of his plans. He is fully focused on his first race and is concentrating on that,” the spokesman said.

Hamlin and Davis were the two finalists for the flag bearer position (among eight nominees). Team members from each of the eight Team U.S.A. sports delegations — bobsled and skeleton, ski and snowboarding, figure skating, curling, biathlon, hockey, speedskating, and luge — voted to decide. The vote was split down the middle, so the decision was made with a coin toss.

Davis tweeted about the situation almost immediately:

“I am an American and when I won the 1000m in 2010 I became the first American to 2-peat in that event,” he wrote. “@TeamUSA dishonorably tossed a coin to decide its 2018 flag bearer. No problem. I can wait until 2022. #BlackHistoryMonth2018”

Who the hell he think he is?

Maybe he thinks that he is bigger than our Olympic team!

This is the reason why many people will not like this man he goes and attack our country and put hashtag about black people when this has nothing to do with a racist attack or about the color of his skin!
