Biden Just Yelled “Don’t Jump” While Taking A Picture With Paralympic Athletes – Crowd Reaction Says It All
President Biden and the first lady welcome Team USA to the White House to celebrate their participation and success in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games and Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Invitees included Winter Olympians and Paralympians from this year’s Games in Beijing, as well as Team USA’s Tokyo 2020 competitors, who were unable to visit the White House earlier due to restrictions related to coronavirus.
The event, which took place on the South Lawn of the White House, was attended by around 600 athletes.
Biden began by speaking about his own dreams of becoming an athlete while in college and high school, before turning his attention to the Olympians who stood around him
Biden told wheelchair basketball player Matt Scott “don’t jump” Wednesday at the White House in front of hundreds of Olympic and Paralympic Team USA members.
A very thoughtless thing to say to athletes who are sitting in wheelchairs.
