President Trump just poured gasoline on a growing fire during a live Q&A, and the MAGA base is now split down the middle.
When asked directly whether he would instruct Attorney General Pam Bondi to release more Epstein-related documents, Trump responded:
“Yeah. Whatever’s credible, she can release… He’s dead, he’s gone. Republicans got duped by the Democrats, and they’re following a Democrat playbook. No different than Russia Russia Russia, the other hoaxes.”
Trump doubled down, blaming Democrats for what he now calls the “Epstein Hoax,” saying they launched it to divide conservatives and distract from real corruption.
“Some stupid Republicans fell for it,” Trump added.
He went further, calling those still demanding full transparency on Epstein documents “foolish.”
When pressed again by a reporter—“You said this was a hoax. Has your attorney general told you this is a hoax?”—Trump replied:
“No, it is not the attorney general. It is started by Democrats.”
