VIDEO: Jeffrey Goldberg Gets Caught Off Guard When Pressed on the Signal Story – His Response Speaks Volumes!
The Atlantic’s explosive story alleging Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and top Trump officials leaked Houthi war plans via a Signal chat has imploded—and Jeffrey Goldberg’s squirming response when pressed proves he’s got nothing. Goldberg, a notorious anti-Trump hoax peddler behind the debunked “suckers and losers” narrative, claimed he was accidentally added to a group chat with Vice President JD Vance, Hegseth, and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, discussing operations against Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen, per The Atlantic. But less than 24 hours later, the story’s unraveling under scrutiny, with Trump supporters calling it another fake news hit job.
In a video , anti-Trump writer Tim Miller of The Bulwark grills Goldberg on why he won’t release the full chat logs to back up his “leaked classified war plans” claim. Goldberg’s response? A dodging, self-righteous DC swamp answer: “No, because they’re wrong… We take classified information seriously.”

🚨BREAKING: Jeffrey Goldberg, who lied America into the Iraq War and fabricated the "suckers and losers" hoax, is asked why doesn't he publish more of the Signal chat showing classified information?

But as @Taylor47 on X points out, “The article said attack plans and they are not releasing anything!”.
Told ya – all a set up. https://t.co/rrf5F0lqKC

The Atlantic has already backtracked, abandoning the “war plans” narrative and conceding no classified materials were shared—admitting they lied to push another hoax, per The Washington Post.
Signal, an approved encrypted app, was used appropriately, and a more secure platform existed for sensitive matters, per CIA Director Ratcliffe, who denied any war plans were discussed, per Reuters. The chat’s real, confirmed by the White House, but it was a sloppy error by NSA Mike Waltz—yet no classified info was leaked. For Trump patriots, this is a win: the opposition press’s “nasty, vile” tactics are crumbling. Web reports from Politico confirm The Atlantic’s retreat, while X users demand, “Goldberg’s busted—release the chats!”

Mark Van der Veen offers some of the most analytical and insightful writings on politics. He regularly opines on the motives and political calculations of politicians and candidates, and whether or not their strategy will work. Van der Veen offers a contrast to many on this list by sticking mainly to a fact-based style of writing that is generally combative with opposing ideologies.

This story makes this website look pretty stupid given that the Atlantic has just published the full texts…
Huh, another lying leftist ‘journalist’…what a surprise.
Unfortunately, these commies know the headline is what is most remembered, whether it is true or a total fabrication. The retraction on the last page, weeks later means little to the average person who doesn’t have time to read all the way to the end of a newspaper or watch the last few minutes of a single broadcast. The MSM is totally compromised and perpetuates this phenomenon.
Q: How do you identify liberal/progressive publications?
A: They don’t have a comments section for their articles.
Maybe Hegseth had no hesitancy about sharing those operational details because he knew through intelligence that the Houthis and Iranians had no defenses against any of the forces involved in the raid. Recent Israeli attacks have decimated the air defenses of both countries.
