VIDEO: San Francisco Protesters Attempt to Stop ICE—Agents Show Them Why That’s a Bad Idea

Chaos erupted outside the San Francisco Immigration Court on Tuesday when anti-ICE protesters physically tried to block federal agents from detaining and removing an individual from the premises. And let’s just say—it didn’t go as planned for the activists.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, roughly 30 protesters swarmed ICE officers as they attempted to escort a detainee to a van parked outside the courthouse at 100 Montgomery St. Video footage shows agents in body armor being screamed at, shoved, and physically confronted by the angry mob.

One ICE agent can be heard shouting, “Stay away from my gun!”—a chilling reminder that these confrontations aren’t just political theater, they’re dangerous. The agents managed, after a serious struggle, to secure the detainee inside the van. But the circus didn’t end there.

As the van attempted to pull away, protesters jumped in front of it and clung to the vehicle, with one hanging onto the windshield as it moved down Montgomery Street. Footage shows one protester falling off in a crosswalk while the van swerves slightly, apparently trying to shake another off. It’s a miracle no one was seriously injured—this time.

This isn’t just civil disobedience—it’s escalating into full-blown street warfare against federal law enforcement. And it’s not just in San Francisco. Two ICE-related shootings in Texas over the past week—one at the Prarieland facility in Alvarado, and one in McAllen—are raising serious concerns about coordinated anti-ICE violence. In Alvarado, a police officer was shot, and 10 alleged Antifa members were arrested.

The Biden-era tolerance for this kind of lawless behavior has to end. ICE agents are enforcing federal law—they shouldn’t have to fight through violent mobs to do it.
