VIDEO: Newsom Claims “Proof Trump’s Running in 2028” During Press Conference — Border Patrol Agents Turn It Into a Humiliation Tour
Gavin Newsom thought he was going to hold a calm, controlled press conference on California’s redistricting fight. Instead, Border Patrol agents turned it into a humiliation tour — and it was glorious.
As Newsom stood at the podium trying to push his political talking points, Border Patrol agents staged what can only be described as a show of force right outside, arresting illegal immigrants in full view of the cameras.
“We’re here making Los Angeles a safer place,” California’s Border Patrol Chief told FOX LA, “since we don’t have politicians who will do that, we do that ourselves.” The timing couldn’t have been more perfect — or more embarrassing for Newsom, who has spent years turning California into a sanctuary state.

And then, as if the day couldn’t get any more surreal, Newsom casually dropped another bombshell: he claims he has “proof” Donald Trump will run again in 2028. His evidence? A “Trump 2028” hat he says was mailed to him.
“Mark my word! These guys are NOT screwing around,” Newsom warned — apparently forgetting that the Constitution doesn’t exactly allow for a third term… yet.

It’s hard to tell which was better: Border Patrol’s live-action trolling or Newsom accidentally giving Trump supporters another meme-worthy moment. Either way, it’s safe to say the California Governor lost control of his own event in spectacular fashion.
