Macron fared no better during photo ops. In a handshake that looked more like a hostage situation, Trump gripped firm while Macron squirmed, blinking like he was signaling for help. Another fitting thanks for Macron’s similar stunt, bending to domestic mobs and trying to steal credit post-deal.
