Liberals Launch Vicious Attack on Melania Trump For Her Tweet About ‘Positively Impacting Children’
On Tuesday, Melania Trump hosted Queen Letizia of Spain for tea at the White House. The visit was part of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia’s five-day trip to the U.S.
“Queen Letizia & I enjoyed tea & time together focusing on the ways we can positively impact children,” said a tweet her office posted later in the evening.

Unfortunately, critics were quick to slam her concern for children while thousands of kids are being taken away from their parents and locked in immigrant detention centers:

So typical. Because this didn’t matter under Obama. Because even tho he deported more than any other president, nobody cared until Trump vowed to do something about immigration. Then it was all hands on deck. Hypocrisy is mind-numbing.
It is well-known that the Obama administration failed to protect thousands of Central American children who have flooded across the U.S. border since 2011, leaving them vulnerable to traffickers and to abuses at the hands of government-approved caretakers.
For the record, on Wednesday, President Trump has signed an executive order to allow children to stay with parents caught crossing the border illegally “while ensuring we have a powerful border.” The measure would allow children to stay in detention with parents for an extended period of time.
But, no matter what President Trump dows, the Left will not be satisfied. They will just find something else to whine about.
Hope the executive order to keep together includes a plane ride home.
