Illegal Alien That Killed Two Law Enforcement Officers On The Road Was Fined Only $280 And Kept His Driver’s License
Liberals opening our doors to criminals are “chumming” for votes while taking all innocent citizens down the toilet with them.
One thing I cannot understand is why Liberals seem to want sex offenders, criminal gangs, drug dealers, murderers, criminal illegal aliens, rapists and thieves and so on. Why do they want them around and even protect them if they can?
But while President Trump is draining the swamp innocent people are losing their lives because of these so-called sanctuary states and their liberal policies.
An illegal alien in Maryland killed two law enforcement officers on the road
He was given a $280 fine and walked free—keeping his driver’s license and right to drive in Maryland according to an inquiry by the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI).
The incident occurred on Dec. 8, 2017, when FBI agent and legal Venezuelan immigrant Carlos Wolff hit a concrete median on a Maryland highway while texting on his phone.
Sander Cohen, the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office deputy chief, stopped to assist Wolff. While standing on the side of the road, both men were struck by Roberto Garza Palacios, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala, and died from their injuries.
Prosecutors determined that Palacios drove in a “careless and imprudent manner” but not with “reckless disregard” for human life, according to The Washington Post.
Palacios ultimately escaped prison time and deportation and was fined $280 for the deadly crash.
His bail was set at $30,000 but the judge reduced it to $15,000. His bail, legal fees, and fine were paid for by CASA, also known as Casa de Maryland, a nonprofit that advocates for illegal immigrants’ rights, according to IRLI.
