BREAKING: Iran’s President Confesses U.S.-Israeli Strikes Devastated the Energy Infrastructure – Weak Message to His People Signals Regime Collapse (Video)
The Iranian regime is cracking — and they just admitted it on live television.
President Masoud Pezeshkian went on state-run TV and begged his own people to start conserving energy because U.S. and Israeli strikes have crippled their infrastructure. His exact words: “Instead of turning on 10 lights at home, turn on two lights. What is wrong with that? They are destroying our infrastructure. They are placing us under siege so that people will become dissatisfied.”

This is the same guy who, just last month, arrogantly claimed that targeted strikes on Iranian energy sites “will yield nothing” for the U.S., Israel, and regional partners.
I strongly condemn attacking Iran’s energy infrastructure. Such aggressive acts will yield nothing for the Zionist–American enemy & their supporters. This will complicate the situation & could have uncontrollable consequences, the scope of which could engulf the entire world. https://t.co/FGtTZZjA6Y

Now he’s singing a completely different tune — because the pressure is working.
President Trump’s orders to blockade the Strait of Hormuz and the Treasury Department’s new sanctions hammering Iran’s “shadow” oil fleet have turned up the heat to maximum.
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced a new round of sanctions Friday targeting the Iranian Oil Trade and Shadow Fleet, levying sanctions against the China-based independent teapot refinery Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Refinery… pic.twitter.com/6FWhhZCi66

This isn’t weakness from America — this is strength. Real strength. The kind the mullahs haven’t seen since Trump was last in office. While the Biden years let Iran fund terror proxies and inch closer to a nuclear bomb, Trump came back and hit them where it hurts: their wallets, their energy grid, and their ability to keep the lights on for their oppressed population.
Pezeshkian’s desperate plea to his people isn’t leadership — it’s a white flag. The regime is losing control. Their infrastructure is in ruins, their economy is gasping, and the Iranian people are one more blackout away from boiling over. This is what regime collapse looks like in real time.
And here’s the best part: peace talks are set to resume with Trump’s trusted team — U.S. Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner — leading the American side. No more empty Obama-style deals that let Iran cheat. Trump’s approach is simple: maximum pressure first, then deal from a position of total dominance.
The radical left and the Iran apologists in the media will cry “warmonger” like they always do. But the facts are undeniable: Trump’s policies are working. The strikes, the blockade, the sanctions — they’re devastating the ayatollahs and forcing them to admit defeat in front of their own citizens. That’s leadership. That’s America First. And that’s exactly why the regime is trembling.
The Iranian people deserve better than these thugs. If the pressure keeps mounting — and with Trump in charge, it will — the whole rotten house of cards could come crashing down. The world is watching, and for once, the bad guys are the ones turning off the lights.

Mark Van der Veen offers some of the most analytical and insightful writings on politics. He regularly opines on the motives and political calculations of politicians and candidates, and whether or not their strategy will work. Van der Veen offers a contrast to many on this list by sticking mainly to a fact-based style of writing that is generally combative with opposing ideologies.

I fully support wiping out all Iranian infrastructure. Reduce Iran to the highest form of technology into a basic campfire. As they are adding wood to the warm fire to keep from freezing at night, they can reflect on the wisdom of never using their money to improve Iranian lives through education, innovation and research, including cultivating food. Instead, they would rather use their money for war, building missiles with the goal of using a nuclear warhead to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth.
With no bridges to move missiles and tanks and other devices of war, they can think about their needs for once, without the buckets of innocent blood running in rivers all through their government offices.
With no power plants to generate electricity, they can’t run the computers and all kinds of evil mal-ware in an effort to scam money from Western companies.
Once they realize the need for a better economy, a rich source of food, the well being oif their own citizens and the growth of their people, maybe, just maybe we’ll let them have steam powered engines. We will have to see what they do with it, and if they intend to use it to kill people.
’nuff said.
unless you have good replacements on standby and genuine and ABLE support and defence for them more evil just muves in. america needs to clean its own house first or next Dcrap in power they’ll be right back where they started
And Democrats in America are livid with Trump for hurting their ally.
