BLM Protesters Shuts Down ACLU Free Speech Event, Shouts: ‘You protect Hitler, too!’ (video)
The students at the College of William & Mary associated with Black Lives Matter shut down a campus event on free speech last week, declaring liberalism to be a form of “white supremacy.”
The protesters from Black Lives Matter swarmed the stage and forced organizers to end the event as they yelled “Liberalism is white supremacy!” the revolution will not uphold the constitution,” and “ACLU, you protect Hitler too!” They also chanted, “the oppressed are not impressed,” and “shame, shame, shame, shame.”
The Black Lives Matter students also held up banners reading “Blood on your hands” and “No dialogue with white supremacy.” They took issue with the ACLU’s response to Charlottesville, where it defended marchers’ rights to protest the removal of a Robert E. Lee statue.
They claim that the organization offered a platform for white supremacists by defending the First Amendment.
One BLM protester asked: “When is the free speech of the oppressed protected? We know from personal experience that rights granted to wealthy, white, cis, male, straight bodies do not trickle down to marginalized groups. We face greater barriers and consequences for speaking.”

This went on for nearly 20 minutes. Eventually, the event was canceled because of the protesters. The college’s Black Lives Matter chapter later credited itself for being the ones to shut down the event on its Facebook page.
Students who attended the event to listen to Gastanaga’s speech criticized Black Lives Matter for its unwillingness to hold a discussion.
“I think they had every right to do what they did. I don’t agree with their method, [but] they’re completely entitled to their opinions,” said Laith Hashem ‘19. “But the thing I disagreed with most was that every opportunity they had to have a discussion, both with the speaker and the audience, they responded by increasing their volume and shouting louder.”
Maybe some of these deaf, dumb and blind liberals will wake up and realize BLM and ANTIFA do not want a dialogue or discussion they only want what they want and they only want to hear what they want to hear.
Terrorists don’t care about anyone else’s rights, cause or message.
These people are their own worst enemy. People are using them as tools and they aren’t even smart enough to realize it. They tell them “Go Protest” If confronted “Yell Louder” They can’t engage in a conversation, they cannot plead their case because they don’t even know or understand what they are fighting for. They are just a bunch of dopes who are being used to cause chaos. They think they are fighting against slavery and oppression yet they are being used just like oppressed slaves.
