Audio: Jamie Lee Curtis Breaks Down in Tears Over Charlie Kirk’s Death – Is This Real or Just Hollywood Drama?

Leave it to Hollywood to deliver the drama, but this one’s got folks scratching their heads. Jamie Lee Curtis, the iconic scream queen from the “Halloween” series, is caught on audio breaking down in tears over the assassination of conservative powerhouse Charlie Kirk, choking up as she admits, “I mean, I disagreed with him on almost every point I ever heard him say…” before adding, “But I believe he was a man of faith, and I hope in that moment when he died, that he felt connected to his faith.” The clip, shared by Collin Rugg on X, shows Curtis getting emotional about the tragedy that cut down a 31-year-old husband, father, and patriot who built Turning Point USA into a force against the radical left.

Audio below:

On the surface, it’s a touching moment—a liberal stalwart mourning someone she clashed with ideologically, finding humanity in the horror. But let’s be real: Curtis has a long history of anti-Trump fire, endorsing Biden in 2020, slamming the former president as “destroying” our democracy, and urging folks to “wake up and fight” after his 2024 win. She’s been vocal on LGBT+ rights, street protests for civil rights, and even hinted at political foul play behind Stephen Colbert’s show getting canned in July 2025. Kirk, with his unapologetic takedowns of progressive policies, was everything she opposed—so her tears? They ring a bit hollow to some, like performative Hollywood virtue-signaling amid a polarized nation where the left’s hate has boiled over into real violence.

Kirk’s killing by far-left extremist Tyler Robinson—complete with ANTIFA-engraved bullets and Discord plots—exposed the darkness, and Curtis’s sobbing comes as radicals gloat and desecrate memorials. Is this genuine grief from a “Halloween” star, or just another celeb trying to cover tracks in the backlash? The audio’s circulating on X—listen and judge for yourself. In a world needing unity, acts like this could bridge divides, but skepticism’s earned when the rhetoric’s fueled the fire.

*(Disclaimer: Opinions on Jamie Lee Curtis’s tears are divided—some believe her emotion is genuine, some don’t. But honestly, I can respect her for this. I don’t get that feeling that this is disingenuous. It does feel authentic, and coming from Jamie Lee, that is shocking. Good on her for putting aside her politics and realizing what happened here and he didn’t deserve it.)*

I don’t believe her sincerity. She’s acting.

If Curtis truly cared about Charlie Kirk’s assassination, she could not vote for any of the lunacy associated with the “trans” movement. She’d have the sense to know that men can’t become women or vice versa and that men don’t belong in women’s sports, locker rooms or bathrooms. But she’s a Hollywood leftist and votes for policies that invite death & disasters now happening in our society. Open Borders is insanity– letting anyone into the country- no vetting? It was an open invitation for terrorists like the 9/11 hijackers & like the savage rapists & murderers of Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray and Karen Morin. The Democrat Party must be dismantled if the country is to be safe- and saved.
