79-Year-Old Armed Homeowner Shoots Intruder In The Legs

People need to learn that action. All actions, have consequences…. Some good, some bad. And, breaking into a home is a dangerous job. It is a stupid move and whoever pulls it, will pay the price.

On Tuesday night, a 79-year-old homeowner in Benzie County, Michigan, confronted and shot an intruder in both legs in his barn.

The homeowner confronted an alleged intruder, ordering him off his property. However, the 37-year-old suspect allegedly came at him in a “threatening manner,” so the homeowner fired the shotgun, hitting the suspect in both legs.

The homeowner kept an eye on the man until police and an ambulance arrived at the home.

The 37-year-old intruder was taken to Munson Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to deputies.

The Second Amendment. The great equalizer, no matter how old you are! This is yet another example of the second amendment working for our people and country.

Sometimes making bad decisions have very painful consequences.

But, I am sure that the intruder learned his lesson…do not invade other people’s houses. If you do, then you are going to get shot.

What do you think of the way the homeowner defended himself?

Homeowner did what needed to be done. You break into another’s property, you are saying I’ll take them out if get in my way, so all homeowner did was to protect his life and that of others legally there. Way to go, one crook that learned a lesson if their lucky.
