69-Year-Old Army Veteran and Owner of Famous “Trump House” in Southern California Brutally Beaten to Death — Here’s How Mark Hamill Enabled This Horror
This is the kind of story that makes your blood boil and leaves you wondering how much more the left’s toxic rhetoric is going to cost innocent Americans.
Kerry Sheron, a 69-year-old Army veteran, was brutally beaten outside his home in Escondido, California, on May 20. Sheron was known locally as the owner of the “Trump House” — his residence proudly decorated with MAGA banners and American flags. He died Sunday night from the injuries he sustained in the unprovoked attack.
The man accused of killing him is 32-year-old Thomas Caleb Butler, a Navy veteran. Prosecutors say Butler punched Sheron in the jaw, knocking him to the ground, then continued hitting him in the head area. Butler was initially charged with attempted murder, elder abuse, criminal threats, and battery. Those charges will now be upgraded following Sheron’s death.
A friend of Butler described him as a huge Star Wars fan who played with Legos and was paranoid, often thinking “everyone is coming to get him.”
Here’s where it gets even darker.
Just weeks earlier, Mark Hamill — the actor famous for playing Luke Skywalker — posted a grotesque image on BlueSky showing President Trump dead in a grave with the caption “If Only.” Hamill followed it up by wishing Trump would live long enough to suffer “devastating loss,” be “impeached, convicted & humiliated,” and go down in history as disgraced forever.
Now a Star Wars superfan has beaten a patriotic Trump-supporting veteran to death on the street. We’re not supposed to connect those dots, of course. But the pattern is getting harder and harder to ignore.
Hamill has spent years using his platform to demonize Trump and his supporters. He called for Trump to die, then deleted the post and offered a half-hearted “apology.” Meanwhile, his rhetoric helps create an environment where unstable people feel justified in attacking anyone wearing a MAGA hat or flying an American flag.
Kerry Sheron was exactly the kind of American Hamill and his Hollywood crowd love to mock — a veteran who loved his country and wasn’t afraid to show it. Now he’s dead because a deranged Star Wars fan decided to act out his rage on the street.
This isn’t just a random tragedy. It’s the predictable result of years of left-wing celebrities and politicians treating Trump supporters as subhuman. They call them Nazis, terrorists, and threats to democracy. Then they act shocked when the rhetoric turns into real-world violence.
President Trump has survived multiple assassination attempts precisely because of this kind of toxic hate. Hamill’s “dead Trump” post came just days after one of those attempts. Now another Trump supporter is dead at the hands of someone radicalized by the same cultural poison.
The left will scream that we’re “connecting dots that don’t exist.” But when a Star Wars fan beats a Trump-supporting veteran to death shortly after Hamill fantasizes about Trump in a grave, the dots are pretty hard to miss.
Mark Hamill built his fortune playing a hero who fights evil. In real life, he’s using his platform to spread the kind of hate that leads to exactly this kind of horror.
Kerry Sheron deserved better. Every Trump-supporting veteran and American deserves better. The constant demonization has to stop before more innocent people pay the ultimate price.

At a minimum, Hamill should pay for this patriot’s funeral. What a disgrace he is. As for the murderous “superfan,” I agree that he should be eligible for the death penalty. He should have heeded the wisdom of Yoda:
