WATCH! Nancy Pelosi Sick Defense On Democratic Sexual Harassers Has ENRAGED Americans
On Sunday morning, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi defended former President Bill Clinton, Sen. Al Franken and embattled Democratic Michigan Rep. John Conyers, against allegations of sexual misconduct. During the shocking interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press” Pelosi attacked President Donald Trump and Alabama GOP U.S. Senate hopeful Roy Moore.
What is even worse, she called the 88-year-old congressman Conyers “an icon,” despite the fact he is facing sexual harassment allegations.
“We are strengthened by due process. Just because someone is accused — and was it one accusation? Is it two?” Pelosi replied. “John Conyers is an icon in our country. He has done a great deal to protect women — Violence Against Women Act, which the left — right-wing — is now quoting me as praising him for his work on that, and he did great work on that.”
The congresswoman continued on to say that she believes Conyers “will do the right thing.”
For the record, last week it was revealed that taxpayers footed the bill for a $27,000 settlement for a staffer of Conyers that claimed the Michigan Democrat made sexual advances on her and fired her after she wouldn’t “succumb” to them.
Asked about Clinton, Pelosi said: “I think it is a generational change. Let me say the concern we had then was that they were impeaching the president of the United States. And for something that had nothing to do with the performance of his duties and trying to take him out for that reason.”
Pelosi called Roy Moore “a child molester” and said: “I don’t believe you can equate Senator Franken with Roy Moore. It is two different things.”
She gave her opinion about President Trump, saying: “So many women have had a bad experience. Now they are saying I have had a bad experience and now a person who possibly engaged in that activity is the president of the United States. I’m speaking out. ”
Typical liberal Democrat logic!! Democrats only have one standard and that is a double standard. They have absolutely no morals when it comes to one of theirs. Conyers is a proven pervert, paid tax dollars as hush money, whilst Judge Roy Moore has a spotless record except for the Democrat’s smear campaign that has blown up in their face!!! Democrats lie, it is what they do!!!
Another ignorant statement from Nancy Pelosi. The Democrats should rethink whether or not they want the unbalanced Nancy representing them. Conyers should resign immediately if not sooner…
