Report: Trump Considering Axing Kristi Noem Over Alleged MAGA Affair – Her Potential Replacement is Revealed

A report from The Bulwark suggests President Trump is weighing a potential change at the Department of Homeland Security, with Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin floated as a possible replacement for Secretary Kristi Noem.

According to three former DHS officials who spoke anonymously to the outlet, Trump has grown frustrated with Noem’s tenure, particularly over her close adviser Corey Lewandowski, described as “divisive and combustible.” Two of the sources said they’ve heard Noem has taken a reduced role in directing department memos and that a move could happen “really soon,” though all three cautioned the situation remains fluid. One possibility raised is that Noem could stay long enough to oversee new enforcement operations planned for January and February before any transition.

The report acknowledges that Trump himself has expressed satisfaction with Noem’s performance, and both Noem and Lewandowski have pushed back strongly against any suggestion of tension. Lewandowski texted The Bulwark on Thursday evening, “None of that is true.”

The last thing Trump would want to do is create more controversy for the media to seize upon, especially when he’s happy with Noem’s job performance. I don’t care how unhappy some of his officials are with her, if he’s happy, then she ain’t going nowhere.

I could be wrong, but this is how I see it. And I fully expect the White House to call this reporting completely false in the coming days, if asked about it.
White House and DHS officials have not commented publicly on the speculation.

Asinine comment. You are a WHINER. You have no idea what she’s up against. You also have no idea what is required of the AG in order to prosecute so many people.
