Michelle Wolf Issues Brutal Response To The Criticism Of Her Jokes About Sarah Huckabee Sanders
Several reporters found Daily Show contributor Michelle Wolf’s performance at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday to be vile and despicable. Maggie Haberman called the press secretary’s ability to sit through the routine “impressive“. MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski said the WHCA owes Sanders an apology. Andrea Mitchell referred to Wolf’s set as “grossly” insulting, saying she was the “worst” comedian to perform at the dinner since Don Imus, who in 1996 belittled the Clintons to their faces over the president’s reported infidelities and the then-ongoing Whitewater scandal.
Maggie Haberman at the New York Times, said the jokes double as “intense criticism” of Sanders’s physical appearance “Sounds like you have some thoughts about her looks though?”
That @PressSec sat and absorbed intense criticism of her physical appearance, her job performance, and so forth, instead of walking out, on national television, was impressive.

Watching a wife and mother be humiliated on national television for her looks is deplorable. I have experienced insults about my appearance from the president. All women have a duty to unite when these attacks happen and the WHCA owes Sarah an apology.

It was uncomfortable sitting through the comedian’s attacks.

However, on Twitter, Wolf defended her White House Correspondents’ Dinner joke about Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
In a reply to Maggie Haberman’s critic, Wolf tweeted: “Hey mags! All these jokes were about her despicable behavior. Sounds like you have some thoughts about her looks though?”

Replying to additional criticisms from Mika Brzezinski, Wolf later added: “Why are you guys making this about Sarah’s looks? I said she burns facts and uses the ash to create a perfect smoky eye. I complimented her eye makeup and her ingenuity of materials.”

Name calling, body shamming and degrading women are OK when a Democrat does it to a Republican. Michelle Wolf is a disgrace to herself, comedians, our country…humor isn’t funny when it is mean-spirited, cruel, and racially motivated!!! Now the people see how truly disgusting these people really are.
The Whitehouse Correspondents Dinner last night was a travesty for our country in a number of ways, and the comedienne that was the centerpiece for the dinner was one of the crudest and most despicable attempt at humor that I have seen anywhere let alone on national television.
Let this be a wakeup call to vote in the Mid Terms, Let it be a vote for the unborn!
