Live From Syria! First Videos Of US-Led Strikes On Damascus Emerge
Friday night President Trump addressed the nation in a televised news conference announcing that the United States was carrying out a strategic strike on Syria with Britain and France as he was speaking.
The purpose of our actions tonight is to establish a strong deterrent against the production, spread and use of chemical weapons. We are prepared to sustain this response until the Syrian regime stops its use of prohibited chemical agents,” Trump told the American people.
The strike is in response to Syria’s dictator Assad gassing entire families to death Saturday night in Douma and East Ghouta.
Groups in the area, which put the death toll at more than 70, said many residents were hiding in cellars, suffocating from poison gas.
The first videos and photos have emerged on social media showing what appear to be the strikes by the US, the UK and French militaries in the Syrian capital.
The US used B-1 bombers on Friday in the military strike on Syria.

On Friday, Trump once again called out Assad’s allies. “To Iran and Russia, I ask, what kind of nation wants to be associated with the mass murder of men women and children? The nations of the world can be judged by the friends they keep. Russia must decide if it will continue down this dark path or if it will join with civilized nations as a source for stability and peace.
Damascus, Moscow, and Tehran still deny that the chemical attack was Assad’s doing. U.S. officials say they have intelligence proving a chemical attack did occur and that U.S. and foreign intelligence indicate that the Syrian government was behind the attack.
We are trying to prevent the use of these terrible weapons, which were banned after WWI when 1,000,000 people died in chemical weapon attacks, from becoming accepted and commonplace. If we are not successful they will be used against Americans and our allies.
I can say only one thing:
It was Hillary and Obama’s war, to begin with.
Even I am against the use of chemical weapon I think we should have waited for more proof before we launch an attack!
