Leftist Deepfake Controversy: Jim Acosta Creates and Interviews AI-Generated Parkland Victim Attacking Second Amendment Rights in Disturbing Video

In a chilling new low for political propaganda, left-wing media figures have now crossed the line into resurrecting the dead to push their anti-Second Amendment agenda.

Jim Acosta—yes, the same grandstanding former CNN anchor—has apparently produced a video interview featuring an AI-generated avatar of Parkland victim Joaquin Oliver. The so-called “interview” shows a lifeless, CGI version of the young man, who was tragically killed in the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, delivering bland, robotic lines about the need for stricter gun laws.

This isn’t satire. This isn’t a Black Mirror episode. This is real—and it’s only the beginning.

The video, which was created with the blessing of Oliver’s grieving parents, is being paraded as a tool for “awareness,” but many see it as something far more dystopian: emotional manipulation through synthetic resurrection.

The dialogue delivered by the AI avatar is strikingly shallow, sounding like it was copy-pasted from a generic ChatGPT prompt. And that’s what makes this so terrifying—because it won’t stay this crude forever.

Video:

We are entering a new frontier where political actors can resurrect victims—and likely heroes, celebrities, or even former presidents—to push partisan messages. As the technology evolves, these avatars will become more convincing, their voices more emotional, and their delivery more persuasive.

What happens when AI-generated victims start testifying before Congress? Or appearing in campaign ads?

One thing is clear: the left has opened Pandora’s Box.

And ironically, the same establishment that uses deepfakes to manipulate public opinion will likely push for legislation banning this technology once it’s used against their agenda. Imagine an AI Abraham Lincoln defending the Constitution, or a resurrected Founding Father shredding the woke movement—it’ll suddenly become “dangerous.”

For now, this grotesque stunt using a digital ghost to attack gun rights should serve as a wake-up call.

The war for truth just entered the uncanny valley.

We need to hear more from the female student who was interviewed on a local feed who stated that she walked out of the building beside the alleged shooter while she was still hearing gunfire and she stated to him that she thought HE might have been the shooter and that he seemed visibly surprised by her words.
And we need to hear more from the female teacher/counselor (?) who stated in a video that during the shooting she stepped into the hall and only 20 feet away there was a figure in what appeared to be SWAT gear shooting down the hall. She said that her shoulder was grazed by a round as she hurried back into her classroom. If this was the alleged perp, how did he get SWAT gear into the school, how did he dispose of it, and where is it now?
And why was the alleged perp seen lying face-down in the grass like he was unconscious and then transported away on a gurney? Did he even know where he was?
