Irate Neighbors Start Petition To Force This Neighbor To Take These Beautiful Christmas Decorations Down! Which Side Do You Support? (Video)
A Connecticut family could be forced to turn off their intricate Christmas display featuring 300,000 lights after complaints from neighbors about traffic and parking.
The Connecticut Post reports that the Halliwell family’s huge decorative display, called Wonderland at Roseville, in Fairfield drew about 30,000 visitors last holiday season, not counting those who just drove by.
Police plan to establish temporary parking restrictions while the display is up this year, preventing some residents from parking outside their homes.
Neighbor Nadine Losquadro submitted a petition with 45 signatures asking town officials to control traffic and minimize the impact the annual display brings to the community.
“We did not move into our homes knowing there would be, or could be, parking restrictions imposed on us for six weeks out of every year during prime holiday time,” she said.
Halliwells claim none of their neighbors have contacted them directly with any complaints, however, they hope they can resolve the issue, hopefully satisfying their neighbor’s concerns, however they fear this might be the last year of their incredible display.
“We’re trying to figure out what to do,” Maryann Halliwell said. “It’s probably our last year. It’s a real shame.”
The family does not charge admission but collects donations, which benefit Shriners Hospital for Children in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The Halliwell family doesn’t charge any admission fees for visitors coming on their property to view the display, however, they do accept donations, which goes to benefit one of their favorite charities the Shriners Hospital for Children in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Do you think something can be worked out with the township, where everyone can be satisfied?
