Washington is not a swamp, it’s a sewer. It needs to be drained.
Recently, we learned that taxpayers have paid over $15 million to settle sexual harassment lawsuits against members of Congress!

Equal treatment for lawmakers? Don’t count on it.
A little-known law has been on the books for more than a decade that gives anyone accusing a federal lawmaker of sexual harassment the right to sue – but only if they consent to a lengthy drawn-out process that includes a written statement within 180 days of the incident, 30 days of counseling and another month or so of mediation.
During that time, the claimant’s employer will be notified. The lawmaker’s identity, however, will remain confidential even if he or she is found guilty.
The Washington Post, which first reported on the fund, found that between 1997 and 2014, $15.2 million was paid out to 235 claimants.”
After the Congressional Office of Compliance released a year-by-year breakdown of harassment settlements and other awards without details the majority of citizens wanted the names of these predators to be released.
The taxpayers deserve to know who played while we were paying. If we are paying for all the sexual predators’ settlements we have the absolute right to know where Congress spends OUR money. Luckily, President Trump agrees. President Trump told reporters on Tuesday that he believes the names of congressmen that have settled sexual harassment lawsuits should be outed.
“I do. I really do. I think they should,” he said on the South Lawn of the White House before he departed for the Thanksgiving holiday in Mar-a-Lago.

This is why I love President Trump. Not only is he absolutely right, he is fearless! And this is the main reason that the swamp fears President Donald Trump.
But, it sickens me that Congress has been using a slush fund, our taxpayer money, to pay off these sexual predators in Congress and kept is secret. No more!!! If we, the taxpayers, paid for their legal defense or for payoffs to the accusers, then we need to know their names. Names and a list of how much of our tax money was paid out to cover this up! Then kick them out and get our money back!
