Karen Bass Says the Quiet Part Out Loud: Admits She Supports Giving Non-Citizens the Right to Vote in Los Angeles (Video)
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass just said the quiet part out loud.
During a Politico California Playbook discussion, Bass was asked about far-left Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martínez’s plan to rewrite the city charter so non-citizens — including illegal immigrants — can vote in city council and school board elections.
Her response? “Well, I think we need to explore it.”
She didn’t reject the idea. She didn’t call it unconstitutional. She didn’t say it would destroy election integrity. She leaned into it.
Bass tried to soften it by mentioning that some cities only let “legal” non-citizens who pay taxes vote, but she quickly pivoted to defending her sanctuary city policies that she pushed through even after Trump’s first election.

This is what radical Democrats really want. They know they’re losing ground with American citizens, so they’re openly talking about importing new voters who will reliably support their agenda. Non-citizens voting in local elections is a backdoor way to dilute the voice of actual Americans.
Los Angeles is already a sanctuary city under Bass. Crime is out of control, homelessness is everywhere, and illegal immigration has strained every resource. Now she wants to give the very people who aren’t supposed to be voting a say in who runs the city.
President Trump has warned about this for years. Democrats don’t want to win elections by persuading American voters — they want to change the electorate. That’s why they fight tooth and nail against voter ID, why they push for mass amnesty, and why they’re now floating non-citizen voting in major cities.
This isn’t democracy. This is demographic replacement by design.
The American people rejected this madness in 2024 when they elected Trump in a landslide. They want secure borders, fair elections, and leaders who put citizens first. Karen Bass just showed she’s on the opposite side.
California voters are watching. The rest of the country is watching. And the radical left’s plan to import votes is becoming harder and harder to hide.

Would rather wall it off, cut all exits, cut all resources and just let the cities die with the leftists in them.
There is nothing unconstitutional about non-citizens voting in local elections.
Honest to God, this Bass is stupid beyond belief. Everyone but her knows Hispanics are not particularly fond of blacks and giving a bunch of Hispanic iillegals the vote is a great way for her and other citizen black politicians to get tossed and replaced with Hispanics.
