Video: Stephen Miller Dismantles Jake Tapper’s “Who Will Pick the Crops” Narrative—Reveals Just How Many Illegals Are Actually Doing It

CNN’s Jake Tapper thought he had a “gotcha” moment with Stephen Miller on illegal immigration and farm labor, but the former Trump advisor completely dismantled his argument in real-time.

During their heated exchange, Tapper pushed the tired left-wing narrative that illegal immigrants are essential to American agriculture, citing a Department of Agriculture claim that 42% of crop workers between 2020 and 2022 were undocumented. But Miller wasn’t having it.

“Well, I mean, I’m sure it’s not your position, Jake, you’re just asking the question—that we should supply America’s food with exploitative, illegal alien labor,” Miller shot back, exposing Tapper’s faulty premise.

Miller then dropped the hammer: “Only 1% of alien workers in the entire country work in agriculture.” He pointed out that Biden’s illegal migrants aren’t heading to farms—they’re flooding cities like New York and Los Angeles, living off taxpayer-funded welfare.

As Tapper flailed and tried to interrupt, Miller kept going: “The illegal aliens that Joe Biden brought into our country are not doing farm work. They are in our cities collecting welfare.”

Miller also made it clear that Trump’s plan isn’t to destroy agriculture but to fix it—through a lawful guest worker program and increased automation.

Tapper had no comeback. Watch the moment he gets schooled:

We’re going to need those crop picking jobs, and many more like them, for all of the gender studies majors who won’t be able find jobs in their chosen vocation.
