Viral Video Accuses Trump of Sneakily Peeking into Xi Jinping’s Notebook — But There’s a Huge Problem With That Claim (Video)
The usual suspects tried to run with it.
A clip from the Trump-Xi dinner in Beijing went viral showing President Trump glancing down at a notebook as Xi Jinping walks away. The left and their media friends immediately jumped on it, claiming Trump was “sneakily” trying to read the Chinese leader’s private notes.
Here’s the clip they were pushing:
It looked shady at first glance — until you see the full context.
The notebook wasn’t Xi’s at all. It was Trump’s own binder, complete with the Presidential Seal on it. You can clearly see him pick it up himself right before heading to the lectern to give a toast.
Watch this:
That’s Trump grabbing his own notes for the speech. The timing lines up perfectly. He wasn’t spying on Xi — he was checking his own talking points like any leader would before standing up to speak.
Even if it *had* been Xi’s notebook (it wasn’t), the whole conspiracy falls apart because Trump doesn’t read Mandarin. The book would have been completely useless to him anyway.
Chinese netizens were split too. Some joked about it looking suspicious, but others immediately pointed out it was probably just an event program or speech notes. Either way, there’s zero evidence it was Xi’s private document.
This is peak desperation from the anti-Trump crowd. They see a split-second clip and turn it into “Trump is stealing secrets!” without bothering to check the facts. It’s the same pattern we’ve seen for years — every little thing gets twisted into some conspiracy because they can’t accept that Trump is back and winning on the world stage.
Meanwhile, Trump was in Beijing doing what he does best: projecting strength, cutting deals, and putting America First. The real story is the progress coming out of that summit, not some fake “gotcha” over a binder.
The media loves to paint Trump as the bad guy no matter what. But the video evidence is right there for anyone willing to look. It was his notebook. End of story.
Trump keeps proving why the world respects him — because he shows up prepared and confident. The people trying to spin this one just ended up looking silly again.
