No Kings protesters marching through Washington, DC on Saturday were caught on camera chanting “abolish the police” — while being escorted and protected by uniformed officers the entire way.

As the crowd moved down the street, one protester led the chant: “I said take it to the streets, abolish the police.” At the same time, Metropolitan Police Department officers walked alongside them, holding back traffic and clearing the route for over a mile, including across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.
