The shooter entered the rink where a family member was playing in a high school hockey game and opened fire on his family before turning the gun on himself. Audio from the incident captured 11 shots as players and spectators tried to escape. A heroic bystander attempted to wrestle the gunman to the ground, an act Chief Goncalves said likely saved lives.
