CNN Reporter Drops the Quiet Part Out Loud on Afghans Behind National Guard Attack in DC (Video)
Thanksgiving turned into a day of national mourning when 20-year-old National Guard Specialist Sarah Beckstrom died from wounds suffered in a cold-blooded ambush near the White House. Her fellow Guardsman, 24-year-old Andrew Wolfe, is still fighting for his life in critical condition. The shooter: Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, an Afghan national who overstayed his visa after being flown here during Biden’s 2021 Afghanistan surrender.
And then, in the middle of this tragedy, a CNN guest said the quiet part out loud — the part that explains why the left is absolutely petrified right now:
**“This is the worst case scenario for every Afghan immigrant in this country.”**
Translation: An Afghan migrant just executed an American soldier in our capital… and the real problem, according to CNN, isn’t the dead Guardsman or the one clinging to life — it’s that Americans might finally start asking why we keep importing military-age males from terror hotspots and handing them permanent residency with zero vetting that was clearly a joke.

That single sentence is the entire open-borders playbook exposed in nine words.
Bonus admission nobody asked for: Vermont’s top Afghan resettlement advocate went on air bragging that Afghans are now “deeply integrated” because the state desperately needs their labor for dairy farms and motel staffing.

So we traded American safety and sovereignty for cheaper cheese and maid service.
Never let them memory-hole this clip.
While Sarah Beckstrom’s father sat at her bedside whispering, “She has a mortal wound… I’m holding her hand right now,” the corporate media’s biggest worry was optics for the migrant community that produced the killer.
That’s not journalism. That’s damage control for a failed policy that just got an American hero killed.
All Afghan immigration applications are now suspended nationwide. Too late for Sarah, but maybe — just maybe — it won’t be too late for the next American.

Mark Van der Veen offers some of the most analytical and insightful writings on politics. He regularly opines on the motives and political calculations of politicians and candidates, and whether or not their strategy will work. Van der Veen offers a contrast to many on this list by sticking mainly to a fact-based style of writing that is generally combative with opposing ideologies.

Fuck you, Eva.
