10 NFL Players Walk Out After Owner’s Comment About Anthem Protesters
The NFL players become a bunch of grown men making millions throwing around a pigskin, spitting in the face of the person who gives them the ability to make fortunes from doing nothing that contributes to society!
The NFL players become a bunch of grown men making millions throwing around a pigskin, spitting in the face of the person who gives them the ability to make fortunes from doing nothing that contributes to society! These are millionaire cry baby’s looking for a reason to show their importance.
On Friday, commenting on players who protest during the national anthem, the Houston Texans owner Bob McNair said, “We can’t have the inmates running the prison.” This caused a revolt among the players who were not happy about his comments and considered walk out of the team.
Sources said that about 10 players, including Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, left the team facility Friday after hearing about McNair’s remark.
Many of the Texans players wanted to leave facility and not attend practice, and Pro Bowl WR DeAndre Hopkins actually did, per sources.

Texans offensive lineman Duane Brown said McNair’s comments “sickened” him and were “horrible.” Brown also said he wasn’t surprised by the comments, and that Houston players are not done dealing with the issue.

“My husband has put his BODY & MIND on the line for your team for 10 YRS & to you, he is an “inmate,” Devi Brown wrote. “You owe these players RESPECT & support.”

McNair issued an apology Friday for the inflammatory utterance, which he made Oct. 17 at a meeting of NFL owners and executives to discuss players’ protests during the national anthem.
McNair said: “I regret that I used that expression. I never meant to offend anyone and I was not referring to our players. I used a figure of speech that was never intended to be taken literally. I would never characterize our players or our league that way and I apologize to anyone who was offended by it.”
Well, this is a reminder that the NFL is a business. Owners are not your friends. Gonna be great when the league implodes and all these players don’t have game checks coming now in anymore. See how quick they shut up then.
But, these players deserve to be fired. This would not be allowed on any other job. If they want to show their ignorance they should do it on their own time. They are harming their employer so they should be fired

Every single one of them need to be fired they are employees.
I will watch nfl when pigs fly, not pig skins.
😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Enough is enough
No company is going to let employees do what they want, theses owners just need to fire these players it’s that simple.
Let every one of them who refuse to follow the rules of the coaches and owners WALK OUT. Tear their contracts up and throw them (both) away! Stop pandering to these players.
oh my..he put his body and mind on the line…but what exactly does that do for society ?? Oh yeah that’s right…absolutely nothing…maybe they should all get fire and go do a real job and see how much they cry afterwards..nothing but a bunch of #MillionaireCryBabies
I enjoy football on TV but I can live without it……
Fire them no other company would allow an employee to walk off or sabotage their company. I’M sure there are other young men who can play just as well as they can for much less money.and they respect our flag and country.
Fire them that is sabotage no other company would allow this. There are others who respect our country that would love to work for a small amount of what they make. We need people who respect our military and without them they couldn’t play the game and have the freedom we have.
I am 100% with the owners, the players are nothing but a bunch of crybabies who feel that they are entitled. The words the owner stated were taken out of context and the players know it and I am sure they have said the same or worse – He immediately apologized but the players want everyone to feel sorry for them . When I was growing up we were told “sticks and stones may break my bones but names would never hurt me unless I believed them” and it is true. Apparently the players believe they are prisoners but they have no one blame but themselves. I am amazed that a group of so called men are so thin skinned. I grew up on the south side of Chicago, am 74 years young and am thankful that I
am not thin skinned
I like what the Dallas Cowboy owner did fire the player that held up his fist. Standing for the national anthem is in their handbook that was given to them when they were hired. Helmet and left hand and right hand on heart facing the flag. This is our country and the NFL was an American sport until now. Spoiled little boys that make a lot of money and end up pissing it all off and losing everything. American Stone get the right to do what they want at work if you don’t do your job you get fired. Why should we Americans pay tax dollars for you to play in our stadiums. Did you hear that our stadiums. You not only work for the NFL you work for the hard-working citizens of America and the men and women who fought to save our lives so you could act like jackasses in front of our country. I am proud of Americans for not showing up at the stadium and watching the stadium empty. What do you say we start charging these racist football players to play in our Stadium. I also think that small company should have the right to go into the stadiums and serve their food at reasonable prices. Small brewing companies to serve beer. They have contracts with big companies tonight only bilkis for all the money for the tickets but the take all our money for a $15 beer. We own those stadiums we have the right to choose Defenders who go in. We have the right if the players can use our property. Big changes need to be made. These thugs need to learn some manners or they should just stay home because nobody wants to watch you anymore.
It was just an expression, grow up! Do you realize you are trampling on our freedom of speech? Some people want to have gun laws now that may be directly caused by black thugs shooting up everything everywhere. Do you realize blacks are trampling on our right to bear arms? You are trying to start a race war and you won’t win, because in the end you are just little boys trying to get attention. Please quit the game and let the men play!
The players also need to respect the Flag of our nation. They deserve no respect. Boycott the NFL, players, and sponsors. From a Vietnam Veteran
If I did anything like these baby’s, if be fired in a instant, regardless of my contract.
It’s a breech of contract, period.
The owners could fire everyone who walked out and demand their money back or face jail.
It’s that easy
The guy sitting on the bench waiting to play next yr or the yr after that will gladly stand up.
