Jeffries and the Democrats just watched their grand power grab go up in smoke — and the best part? There’s nothing left to appeal. This was a pure state constitutional issue decided by Virginia’s highest court. No federal hook. No Hail Mary to the U.S. Supreme Court they love to demonize as “illegitimate” until they suddenly need it.

This is the political equivalent of the Atlanta Falcons blowing a 28-3 lead. Democrats were so sure they’d rigged the game that they couldn’t stop bragging about it in public. Now they’re left holding the bag while Republicans keep the seats they already had — and gain ground in the process.

This isn’t an isolated win. It’s part of the massive redistricting wave we’ve seen over the past two weeks: Texas map upheld (+5 GOP seats), Tennessee new map (+1), Florida new map signed (+4), and now Virginia (+4). Add in the Supreme Court’s recent ruling weakening race-based maps and Republicans are looking at a potential net gain of 15–20 House seats heading into the midterms.

President Trump encouraged this exact strategy — fight hard, redraw aggressively where legal, and stop unilaterally disarming while Democrats rig every map they control. The results speak for themselves.

Jeffries can spin it however he wants, but the American people see what happened: Democrats tried to cheat the map, got caught on procedure, and the court called them out. Their “10-1 advantage” fantasy just became a 10-1 embarrassment.
